Copses & Glades

The West area of the property contains a number of copses and glades that were planted in February 2002. These have been very successful and we extended and merged some of the existing copses and created 4 new copses in 2009. The copse and glade area is bordered by an avenue of Picea Omorika and Fagus Sylvatica Dawyck.

Parkland & Paddock

Most of the silt from the old lake was placed on the paddock and was rotovated and reseeded. This has taken well. We are now considering distributing a wild flower mix to some areas of the paddock. Also up to 6 large specimen trees will be planted in the paddock during this winter.
